Welcome to Vasantrao Naik College of Agricultural Biotechnology, Yavatmal college Library. The library is distinct in its mission to acquire information, process, organize and make it available for the present generation and preserve for the future. The home of more than 1919 books and other reading materials, and 07 journals of agricultural, technical and allied science interest. The library also houses special interest collections. The library is continuously revamping and revitalizing its collection so as to make it useful to the community of students.

Vasantrao Naik College of Agricultural Biotechnology, Yavatmal. College Library and Information Centre was set up in the College of Agriculture Biotechnology, in the year 2013. Later it was shifted to the college building in the year 2017.

Today, our holdings have crossed One Thousand Nine Hundred Nineteen books covering a wide range of disciplines under Agriculture sciences, Agricultural Biotechnology, Animal sciences and other allied disciplines including a special collection from FAO. It also receives more than 10 periodicals gifted by various organizations and institutions.

College Library is the single largest information centre of agricultural and Biotechnology information resources in the Vidharbha region of Maharashtra and caters not only to the needs of the agricultural academic community of the region but also serves many scientific.

Our Automated Services....

With the successful completion of Koha and CeRA computerizing the database of bibliographic details and automating its services our Library is on the threshold of embarking on its new role that of an information resource centre at the service of the academic community of this region, in addition to its traditional function of holding and disseminating of books.

Membership

The College Library provides Membership to members of authorities of the teaching staff of College, students of under graduate of the college, teaching staff and students of constituent colleges.

The college Library has provided membership to 150 users during the year 2019-20.
